The Berlage Saxophone Quartet was formed in Amsterdam in 2008. The ensemble impressed right away with the infectious pleasure its members take in playing, their natural manner and their very musical performance.
They won prices at the GERMAN MUSIC COMPETITION 2011 in Berlin and were included in the 56th national selection of the “Konzerte junger Künstler” .They also won the renowned DUTCH CLASSICAL TALENT AWARD 2013 at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam.
Their debut CD “SaxoFOLK” recorded at Dabringhaus&Grimm MDG was published in january 2014.
